Our Soldiers…our AMAZING GRACE…not to be forgotten this
Memorial Day 2010
A moment of reflection to our fallen soldiers for their bravery…
and to my cousin Valeriano who received the Purple Heart.
He is no longer with us, but remembered. I LOVE YOU!
A powerful and riveting rendition of AMAZING GRACE sung by Leann Rimes
Amazing Grace ~
Amazing Grace How Sweet The Sound
That Saved A Wretch Like Me
I Once Was Lost But Now I'm Found
Was Blind But Now I See
'twas Grace That Taught My Heart To Feel
And Grace My Fears Relieved
How Precious Did That Grace Appear
The Hour I First Believed
When We've Been There Ten Thousand Years
Bright Shining As The Sun
We've No Less Days To Sing God's Praise
Then When We First Begun
Amazing Grace How Sweet The Sound
That Saved A Wretch Like Me
I Once Was lost But Now I'm Found
Was Blind But Now I See

How to make an Edible Terrarium:
Here is a link where I found the idea to make an edible terrarium.
It’s SO simple! Love that!
ITEMS & INGREDIENTS NEEDED:
• Truffles – use your favorite Candy Truffles recipe.
• Candy making utensils (optional)
• Glass container with lid
• Oreo cookies
• Coconut
• Green food coloring
DIRECTIONS:
1- Make Truffles. See my post for Sweet Melissa Sundays -Peanut Butter Truffles. Instead of rolling truffles in crushed peanuts, coat the outer truffle with melted chocolate.
2- Pulverize Oreo cookies. (I use a food processor)
3- Sprinkle into glass container. (about an inch – depending on size of glass)
4- Coat coconut with a drop or two of green coloring.
5- Scatter coconut on top of pulverized Oreo cookies.
6- Place Truffles on coconut.
7- Cover the terrarium with a lid.
Voila! You’ve got an EDIBLE TERRARIUM!
Recap:
~ Oreo cookies > represents the dirt
~ Green coconut > represents moss
~ Truffles > represents mushrooms
Enjoy your Memorial Day!
Peace,
Carmen
